Original artwork description
Collamato is a hill-top village in the Marches region of Italy. This small, plein air work created outside the old gate leading to the impressive central square. It was painted as a pendant to my original painting done three years ago on my first visit to Collamato – “A Small Corner of Collamato” (also available on Artfinder) - hence the title. The two paintings compliment one another and may be hung as a pair. I kind of fell in love with this place with its old natural stone buildings and the special Italian light.
This original plein air watercolour painting comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.

600g Hahnemühle, 100% cotton rag, rough, mould-made paper, Windsor and Newton watercolour paints
