'Resilience', is a red abstract painting with a focus on colour and texture and is reminiscent of the works of the late Canadian artist Jean Albert McEwen. Its rich variations of red, purple, gold, and black invite scrutiny by the viewer. Its title is a testament to trying times and the strength within us all to overcome obstacles.

This work is predominantly ruby red and includes black, gold, mauve, and purple. The work is highly textured, multi-layered and much of it was painted using a palette knife.

The painting is ready to hang with wire attached. The gallery-style canvas has sides painted in dark black to complete the look.

This painting has been created using professional acrylic paint. A thin layer of Liquitex Professional Satin Varnish has been applied for protection

The painting is signed on the front and back and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
