A gentle ink and acrylic painting of the wistful dreams and thoughts of the twilight years. Remembering our lives, wondering how much more we have left and what we can do with it to make it meaningful to ourselves and others.
The likeness was creating by letting my pen flow around the paper in easy, simple lines and then finished with layers of transparent acrylic washes, hopefully conveying the temporality of the events and relationships in our lives.
