Original artwork description:

When I painted this piece, an old jazz tune kept echoing in my mind. It carried everything — weariness, passion, a touch of melancholy, and that endless sense of freedom. I imagined a woman whose hair blazed like the sunset over the city, holding a saxophone that poured out the fire inside her.

She doesn’t just play music — she is the music. Every brushstroke is a note, every burst of color an improvisation, every shadow a pause between breath and heartbeat. I wanted the viewer to feel the rhythm of her soul, to hear the colors sing in harmony with the brass of her instrument.

The red became a symbol of impulse, madness, and the living flame of creativity. It burns, but within that fire lies life itself. And the blues — that’s her confession. Not loud or showy, but the kind that hums quietly inside you when you’re alone.

This painting is my musical self-portrait, told through her image. Because every artist, like every musician, searches for his own sound — even if he does it with a brush instead of a saxophone.
