Original artwork description:

We recently went to the Lake District and whilst walking along the river near Slaters Bridge I had a great view of a beautiful Red Squirrel. I have seen a few in the Lakes but its always a fleeting glance. The best view I ever had of one was on Tresco in the Abbey Gardens.
The painting is water colour but I have given it a contemporary twist by adding a pink background which I think makes all the colours in his coat sing out.
The painting is supplied in a frame all ready to hang. The glazing will be acrylic for safety and I can supply in a white, pale grey or a dark grey frame colour.
