A figure painting of a young girl wearing a red shirt. Painted from a model with a calm expression and a relaxed pose.
The drawing is first made with thin charcoal followed by thin layers of acrylic painted on fairly quickly since the model only held this pose for around 45minutes. I do not like to work on the painting later so am quite happy with the slightly unfinished look.

Charcoal and acrylic paint on board with a gesso ground
