"Red, shifted." is a medium to large-scale abstract painting (100 × 100 cm) defined by a dominant, irregular red form set against a raw, light canvas ground. The composition is built through layered pinks, whites, and deeper maroon tones, intersected by graphic black and brown lines, drips, and splashes. The red shape appears deliberately displaced rather than centered, creating a sense of tension and movement across the surface.
The work balances gestural freedom with structural control. Broad, flowing areas of paint coexist with sketch-like linear elements that feel exploratory and provisional.
