The one showing first is No. 2/6. Collagraph varied edition print from a life drawing, printed on 370gsm cartridge paper . This is from a limited edition of 6. A Collagraph print is one made from a plate with different textures. My printing plate is made from mounting board. The process is a combination of intaglio and relief. I Collaged my plate with different textures in this instance scrunched up paper and a paper doily for the blanket, tile adhesive for her hair. I also cut into the plate with a scalpel. I used PVA glue to stick on my textures. Pva is then sealed with shellac. The plate is then coloured with stay open inks and printed. I will pack this print flat between layers of cardboard (see me at work pic) This print is sold unframed.
