I created this large neutral abstract painting as a reflection of structure and softness coexisting within one space.

Working with acrylic on canvas, I built the composition through layered textures using palette knife and expressive brushwork. Soft tones of beige, warm grey, and off-white create an open and calming surface, while deeper accents of charcoal and earthy browns introduce contrast and definition.

At the center, intersecting lines form a subtle structural element — a quiet focal point that organizes the composition without overwhelming it. Around it, textured layers and fluid transitions create depth and movement, allowing the painting to feel both grounded and airy.

The surface is rich in texture, with areas of density and transparency that interact with light. As the lighting changes throughout the day, the tones shift slightly, revealing new nuances and details.
