Over the hill from my home there are a number of quarries dotted along the headland out to sea. My desire was to capture the energy of the place, the texture and atmosphere in my mark making and earthy palette.
53 x 53cm Acrylic, pastels and charcoal on Waterford and Sanders 638msg Paper.
Framed (71 x 71cm) in a white textured and glazed box frame with 4cm surround.
