Inspired by the idea of an award, these ribbons are arranged loosely bundled at the top and dangling at the bottom. I prefer to use oil pastels in order to highlight the vibrant colors and the way the light plays on the satin-like textures. The medium allows for blending but doesn't carry the responsibility of precision that you find with paint or ink.
