I love everything about North Dakota. Including these beautiful little roses that are also the state flower. Prairie roses grow wild everywhere. Sweet fragrance in the summer with its bright color. In the fall I walk through the pastures picking their fruits, the rose hip.
It is painted with a piece of barbed wire because it is often seen growing in a fence row. Woven in with the rusty wire.
Prairie Rose is 9 x 12 inches on 140 lb, cold press, watercolor paper. It is signed on the front and signed and dated on the back. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
