this creature originates not from ancient mythology but from a dream i had as a teenager.
i remember watching the crabman with fear, but mostly with pity, because with his strong nipper hands he would barely be able to do the creative work that i was excited about.
the base of this sculpture is made from a piece of old wooden pavement.
