Possibilities Unfold is a large wide panoramic landscape oil painting of a country path crossroad with a white barn owl flying out from the trees. It is 60x30x1.5 inches. The location itself was inspired by a walk I took in Wadhurst, East Sussex, where there are lots of rolling hills and meadows and wooded copses with streams and paths running through them. It is quite magical in the summertime and full of ancient houses and farms that make you feel as it you accidentally wandered off of the current timeline. I like this otherworldly feeling and have tried to express this in the painting as well as the idea of possibilities and choices of paths to take.
