In Southern Italy, tucked away along the dramatic coastline of the Amalfi Coast, Positano has long been an inspiration to artists. With its stacked buildings, terraced vineyards, and sweet orchards of lemons, this place simply radiates culture. We spent a week here exploring the town and its neighbors. On this one moonlit night, after dinner, on our walk back up to our hotel, I took in this view of the buildings being lit up, each one a different color, like a patchwork palette rising up the hill...a feast for the eyes.
Original Oil painting applied with brushes on archival canvas. Painting is wrapped and painted around the sides, and stretched on heavy-duty stretcher bars. Painting measures 30" x 40" x 1.5." An archival varnish has been applied to accentuate the vibrancy of colors and help protect the original painting.
