This artwork shows Batman (1989 Tim Burton’s version) in a pink suit. I loved the movie when I watched it during the nineties and I wanted to present the superhero in a slightly different version. I painted the background with acid green colours to make the portrait stand out. The technique is expressive, with vibrant brush strokes and a heavy use of colour.
