Original artwork description
This 30x40cm portrait is part of my 2026 expressionist series and shows my girlfriend Elisa while shooting a selfie. I took the picture she made to paint a bright, expressionist portrait in which she looks at the viewer with a gentle smile.
This artwork is painted using vibrant, fast brush strokes. The whites of the face are underlined by red and orange lines, which are in turn surrounded by a mass of green and yellow hair. The right, green eye recalls the colour of the background, while a vertical light-blue stripe delimits the left side of the canvas.
Oil on linen 30x40cm (11.8x15.7x0.8in) 2026, ready to hang.
