A portrait of the great American poet and short story writer, Charles Bukowski. I have painted a number of portraits of Bukowski, one of the earliest was a commission from the University bookshop in Belfast way back in the 90's. Bukowski got to see the postcard, which was also stocked in the Louvre gift shop, and wrote how much he liked it.
