Poppy Cascade is my love letter to colour and energy. This painting was inspired by that rush of joy when a field of poppies stretches before you, spilling across the land like a sea of red. I layered bold, expressive brushstrokes with playful splashes of pinks, purples, and blues to capture the feeling of movement, like petals caught in the breeze. The mountains beyond ground the scene, but the flowers are the real stars, bursting forward with life. My work often falls into what I call dopamine décor, art that lifts your mood the moment you walk into the room. This piece is no exception.
