This is a bright little painting of a field of wild flowers including poppies, cornflower, pink campion, wild carrot and in the distance a field of lavender. The time is mid Summer and the fields are turning golden. In the UK we are lucky enough to have a few lavender farms - the one nearest to me is Hitchin Lavender - such a joy to visit. At the margins of the fields are wild flowers which provide a perfect frame for the star of the show.
The painting is supplied in white/cream mount and will fit a frame size 50cm x 50cm.
