Apart from wanting to depict water lily leaves because of their beauty, I aimed to highlight their vibrant greens and blues. I focused on making this small round canvas as immersive as possible by creating depth. Typically, my artworks have a more realistic feel, but for this piece, I wanted to embrace a looser, more playful approach.
