I painted this piece using oil and a palette knife, and it’s the palette knife that gives the surface this bold, textured feel—alive, a little daring.
I wanted the viewer to feel the tension of the moment—the pomegranate seems to be waiting, on the verge of revealing its hidden treasures.
And I love how the texture makes the painting almost tangible—you feel like you could reach out and touch it. It’s as if the painting isn’t just an image, but a little universe of its own—vivid, real, and full of life.
