Original artwork description
I was born in Polperro on the south Cornish coast and grew up running around the narrow lanes and swimming in the harbour and off the beach. This is one of my favourite views of the village, looking across the harbour to the Warren and Lawson's House. I still get back to the village whenever I can and it's the place that I paint more than any other.
This is mixed media on canvas. I've used acrylic paint and paper built up in layers and sealed with a coat of gloss varnish to make the colours sing. The deep edges of the canvas are painted grey and it's strung on the back ready to hang.
Measurements are 57cm x 57cm x 3.5cm.
I've signed the back and it will come with a signed certificate of authenticity. Please let me know if you'd like it signed on the front too.
