Picture worked from free improvisation. Action painting with music by Yu-Tung LIN.
Work developed through multiple layers, first very watered down and later more defined. A gestural and intuitive painting is developed that generates marks and spots of color that are later cleaned and defined.
Little by little, the selected spots and textures become figures, plants, fruits, animals appear...
In the same way that Neolithic painters used the natural shapes and bulges of the rock to give their figures more realism, in this case the strength of the gesture and the color of the first phase of the painting gives character to the figures that appear subsequently.
A matrix of phrases, single words, numbers, lines and geometric figures appears in the final phase.
Nature, geometry, antiquity, technology, the earthly and the spiritual, the rural and the urban.
