This figurative, abstract pop-art sculpture has been made from records and perspex. The organic figure on the front has been formed from multiple pieces of vinyl music record and attached to a white perspex circle. The circle has then been attached to 5 layers of whole 12" vinyl music records. The curves along the body remain as curves on a record.
Although a deep black, the vinyl beautifully reflects light, and the 3D figure allows light to pass behind it and cast interesting shadows upon the wall.
2 acrylic keyhole hangers have been attached to the back of the wall sculpture.
