As the title suggests, this seascape is about capturing the joyful mood of summer by the beach. Clear water with reflections, splashing small wave and a strip of sand are expressing the sea in a calm day. The viewer is immersed in the scene which is seen from his/her point of view. The sky is omitted but it participate in the composition reflected in the water. The clear and light color palette suggests sunny day. Shades of blue, teal and white are interacting with the soft yellow sand. This expressionistic coastal image is painted with free and bold brushstrokes and palette knife on a lightly textured canvas.
