Blue Sky with Silhouette
The evening sky is a rich deep cobalt blue, more intense than a daytime blue. The sun was almost set drawing the light below the horizon and the air was getting a bit chilly. At such times a wave of nostalgia sweeps over me and I am lost in thought.
This is an original oil painting on prepared board.
Size: 6" x 6" (15 x 15 cm) and is unframed, but would fit into a readily available photo frame, as plain or as fancy as you like. Or prop it on a shelf unframed.
SHIPPING: Orders leave my studio carefully packed with all surfaces protected.
CARE OF OIL PAINTINGS:
The good news is that oil paintings are pretty robust.
Keep away from direct sunlight and steam. Dust occasionally and your painting will last for decades.

There's something quite satisfying about a small oil painting.
To me the square ones are particularly precious and I love to hold them in my hand.
