"Rest is needed for new things to spring up!"
Walking in my local nature reserve in early Spring, shapes were changing all the time. Entering a season exploring rest, I realised rest is needed for new things to spring up! Embodied by this beautiful pink foxglove, I have tried to capture it's spikes form on cradled wood using bright pops of pink, turquoise and purple. I find resting quite hard, so this is like a reminder for me to slow down!. I hope it exudes 'rest' and 'peace' in it's final home, an encouraging reminder that from rest, new things spring forth!
