"Pink is the New Black 6" is an original mid-sized abstract painting, expressive and gestural. Bright pink, pale pink, crimson and yellow-orange, mixed on the canvas and applied with powerful, gestural brush strokes, make it a dynamic, powerful and life-affirming statement piece.

Usually one would say "pink" is girly and soft, but for me it isn't, at least not only. Pink is absolutely powerful and dynamic! If you want to connect pink with feminine, then my "Pink is the New Black" series does this in the best sense: with lines, corners and edges, softer areas, wild splashes. Crazy and bold. Just like women are.

The works "Pink is the New Black" no. 5, 6 and 7 are all 100 x 80 cm, so you can combine them to a pair or a triptych (see an example in the additional pics).
