Original artwork description

This painting captures a quiet moment of melancholy during one of the artist’s daily walks to the station. A solitary bird sits behind industrial bars, evoking a sense of nostalgia and contemplation about the place of animals within the city. The muted palette and soft, blurred edges enhance the introspective mood, inviting the viewer to pause and reflect on the fragile coexistence between urban life and wildlife.

The composition draws attention to the often-overlooked presence of animals in our built environments. While people claim ownership of cities, they rarely notice how many other beings share these same spaces. Here, the bird becomes both a ghostly observer and a symbol of freedom – distant, almost invisible, yet persistently present.

The painting gently questions human indifference toward the living world, encouraging a more attentive, respectful way of seeing — one that acknowledges every quiet form of life that endures among concrete and steel.

The painting is ready to hang and will be delivered in secure, multi-layered packaging, insured and tracked to ensure its safety during transport. Each work comes with a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity, confirming its originality.
