A place by the wild sea,
Coastguard lookout point,
I dream and think about it often,
Many times I have been here,
Grasses on the cliff top,
Taking in the mood and colours in the evening light.

Original expressive watercolour on hot pressed watercolour paper Fabriano 300gsm 140lb.
This is a painting that I went back over and worked on it again. It was challenging doing this process and I had to wet the paper lightly and add some more colour washes plus define the grasses after I had put the colours on. It created a velvet, fuzzy effect using my filbert brush and a Chinese hake.. I scraped out the paint with my nails.
I have signed, dated and titled my artwork on the back.

Hot pressed watercolour paper Fabriano 300gsm 140lb, small chinese hake, filbert brush, Windsor and Newton watercolours,
