In Petals in Flight, petals and blossoms appear to rise and swirl gently across a luminous background of silver, blue, and warm yellow tones. Shades of cobalt, ultramarine, white, and soft red create contrast and movement, while green leaves and fine branches add organic rhythm.
The blossoms, applied with a palette knife, emerge with sculptural texture, casting soft shadows that change with the light. The composition evokes the feeling of petals caught mid-air – light, drifting, and free.
