strawberries on a sunday is pure energy on canvas, a joyful explosion of flowers, colour, and movement. This large diptych measures 200 x 120 cm in total, painted across two 100 x 120 cm panels. It can be hung side by side for a seamless flow or spaced slightly apart for extra impact.

Inspired by those slow, sun filled moments that feel both vivid and fleeting, where colour, warmth and memory seem to blur together. Rather than describing a specific place, it suggests the feeling of being somewhere familiar and alive, where everything is soft, layered and gently in motion.

Painted across two canvases, the composition unfolds like a landscape of wildflowers and drifting forms, inviting the eye to move from one panel to the other. Oil and acrylic work together to create depth and richness, with expressive drips, splashes and gestural marks bringing energy and spontaneity to the surface. These looser elements sit alongside more considered floral detail, creating a balance between control and freedom.

There is a sense here of a hidden place, half remembered and half imagined, where colour gathers and shifts and nothing feels fixed. It is less about what is seen and more about what is felt.

For me, this piece is about those simple, golden moments that stay with you, where everything feels easy, warm and quietly beautiful.
