Over the last decade, I've been moving a lot from one apartment to another, from one city to another, from one country to another. What I can do best is clarify what I want and need in my life at present and foresee what I will need in the future. That is why it is not very hard for me to decide to move somewhere, to adapt my surroundings to myself and myself to it, becoming lighter and more flexible. The main sign prompting me to do that is the perspective that no longer satisfies me. It may be a perspective view from the window of my studio, where I paint, or a sense of perspective in my life. The distance, whether physical or mental, allows me to view everything more imaginatively. Suddenly, the mind is aware of those considerations that were previously ignored, and vice versa - those facts that should be ignored.
Finally, when the focus is wide enough, it lets me see the whole picture.
