This color study in shades of violet, grey and blue with touches of bright orange and red recall rounded stones, fitting together after having edges softened by eons rolling in the water.
Painted in encaustic (beeswax, pigment and resin) on a wood panel. Raw wood areas are protected with a thin layer of clear wax.
