I coveted this painting the moment I saw it, then had to buy it. I wasn't disappointed. I really like Domenica's work - and the painting came really quickly, which was great.

Sublime work of Domenica Brockman full of sensuality with minimalist graphics but which fill the whole atmosphere of my room. Everything is in the detail and I never tire of contemplating this work every time my eyes are on it. Warning however to European collectors because customs taxes are applied in supplement (38 €) for the importation of works of this artist from the United States!

The US postal service does not tell me whether or not there will be fees for the recipient, and I’m sorry you had that unpleasant surprise. I will make a point of mentioning that in my listings.

When I ordered this painting, I was searching for a winter scene that captured the feeling I had as a child whenever it snowed. This piece transported me back to that time. (I have lived in a snow-deprived area for 40 years now.) The landscape depicted reminds me of a late afternoon/early evening time when everything was quiet and the world felt a little closer together. Thank you for allowing me to feel this once again.

Three more beautiful pieces from Domenica - I really must exercise more self control when I look at her work! Again they arrived safely in UK, packaged very securely and cleverly. I have wondered about my attraction to these bold, wild landscapes in upstate NY when I live in Cambridge, UK! I can only say that they appeal to me on an almost primal level and there is real power, impact and skill in her painting which at first might seem beguilingly simple.

The artwork is lovely and the simple wooden frames compliment the paintings very well. Domenica kept in touch and was particularly responsive when I made an enquiry about shipping and delays arising from the holiday post and the package coming from North America.

I wanted a painting by Wolf Kahn, but couldn't afford one. Then I discovered Domenica Brockman's work. Her landscapes are moody and provocative and if you've ever lived in upstate NY you'll understand the feelings they invoke. I love this painting and it came quickly in a modest but lovely frame. Buy her work now, these will go up in value for sure.
