Peonies are one of my favourite flowers and this is a study of some peach coloured ones from my garden. The large, heavy blooms start off a deep terracotta and lighten to a creamy peach when they are fully open.
Drawn mainly in coloured pencil with outlining in ink on smooth Bristol board paper. White acrylic has been used to emphasise the highlights.
It measures 10 x 12 inches (25 X 30cm) with mount so will fit a standard sized frame.
It is signed on the front on mount, on the reverse of the drawing and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
