Peaceful View (2021) Original Oil Painting by Suzanne Vaughan

Peaceful View is an original oil painting from my series of contemporary abstract landscapes. This series is inspired by the natural world, the contours of the land and hills, the sky’s atmosphere and cloud formations, the flow of the sea and rivers. These shapes and forms are abstracted to their energetic essence and combined with the vibrant colors that I love so much.

It has a modern minimal aesthetic and captures the fresh greens of Summer against the rich turquoise blues of the sky. The minimal palette would add some calming meditative energy to any space.

Painted on a 1.5” gallery wrapped canvas with the edges painted a dark color it comes ready to hang and signed on the front and finished with a layer of protective varnish.
