This is a 20" x 16" or 50.8cm x 40.64cm original watercolor and ink painting.
There was something about this warm, inviting room that made me think of the joys of world travel so I filled the shelves and fireplace mantle with interesting souvenirs and books that you might find in the home of someone who's done a lot of traveling and adventuring! A cat is keeping an eye on the pet Shama Thrush who's out of it's cage, happily perched on a vase while the Miniature Schnauzer is fast asleep on the sofa. There are elements of a Tree Of Life theme including a gorgeous rug with a peacock and other birds. On the wall hangs a painting of Mangawhai Heads Beach which is my favorite place in the world!
This painting has been painted with Rembrandt professional watercolor paints and archival ink on Arches, French-made, all cotton 300gsm watercolor paper.
It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
