Patience is a virtue (2025) Linocut by Mariann Johansen-Ellis

Any dog owner will know that tight squeezing
shut of the eyes, "I am being very patient", but when are we going?

A black and white linocut looks deceptively simple, but real choices has to be made with only the 2 colors available, the cutting of the plate is more like sculpting with your lino tool, direction of cut being the most important.

I have printed "Patience" in a short edition of only 30 prints, and signed, titled and numbered each print. Please note you might not receive the number in the photo.
