Original artwork description:
This an oil painting completed in December 2013 depicting a pathway in Inverleith Park, Edinburgh where I often walk when I am in Edinburgh. It is a sunny day in autumn, and the colour of the leaves and the sheer height of the trees inspired me. I sought to put to use the perspective that the pathway communicated, leading the eye up the path.
Initialed and dated on the front, lower left. Signed, dated and titled in full on the back.
