Acrylic painting on board. Inspired by time spent watching huge cloud moving across the Cleveland Hills near my home. I was moved by the evening sun lighting this formation, having experienced the rain, my senses were filled by the colour, the smell and sounds of distant thunder. I had to paint this, one change I made was introducing poppies, I tried the oil seed which was present, but this did not work for me.
