I love this painting. I was happy to find the unusual shape because I needed it for a specific space. The colors are beautiful, rich and soft all at the same time. Since it is an acrylic painting, I thought I could have it framed without glass. But I did end up putting a tiny white mat around it and using glass to protect it.

Absolutely beautiful picture from an amazing artist. Nobody captures the light and mood of North Yorkshire quite like James does. Such a lovely person as well, so interesting and accommodating to any requirements. Outstanding communication and so helpful. Always a pleasure.

So so pleased with this beautiful painting by James McGairy which I bought as a present for my son. He has captured that misty morning sky you often see over the harbour in Whitby. The painting came well packaged with a wonderful handwritten personal letter from the artist which was a lovely touch. Delighted with the painting - thank you James!

Everything was smooth and without issues. The painting is beautiful and was well packaged. Most importantly it was accompanied with a personal letter telling me about the history of the painting.

Received a well packed painting. The actual painting looks great in reality, even better than the pictures in our view. I really nice touch was a letter James included that gave some background on why he chose that spot to paint and why he was driven to paint it. The communications from James were great, we were kept up to date as to when the painting was being shipped and when James had been informed it had arrived here. I'd definitely recommend James' work and the service he provided in getting it to us.
