“Passages” is a triptych consisting of three canvas panels that would measure a minimum of 14 x 33 inches. Each abstract image features a roughly oval shape centered within a dark, textured background. The left panel stands out with a network of bright, white, branching lines that resemble veins or roots, set against a gradient of grey and black. The middle panel shows a more muted but similar center pattern, bordered by a faint, textured frame. The right panel contains an oval form with a dense, vertical central pattern that looks like a series of connected, irregular segments in varying shades of black and white, again framed by a textured black area (is that a man’s face emerging at the core?). This triptych thoughtfully explores the tension between presence and absence, structure and void -- inviting contemplation on transformation and progression.

The use of monochromatic tones enhances the expressive quality, evoking a sense of mystery and introspection. The interplay of light and shadow in the organic shapes suggests growth, decay, or metamorphosis, offering a rich emotional landscape that would garner attention anywhere you place it.
