Original artwork description
Saint-Cloud Park adjoins Paris to the South-West and covers 460 hectares. After a great fire in 1870 the Château that once dominated the estate, was shortly demolished. It's a park I frequented quite often; my children were born at the hospital next-door.
It is painted in an impressionist manner on canvasboard, and left to dry for a year before being varnished.
