PANAMA Canal: I had the chance to spend a few days in Panama and sit on the edge of the canal, like a child,
to watch the boats pass, real cathedrals of metal, sliding on the muddy waters. The tankers are like Mondrian paintings, the container carriers like giant Rubik's cubes.
