Original artwork description
Easily one of my favorite flowers. Their large fragrant blossoms brighten up the landscape or the kitchen counter. I find myself painting the peony more often than any other flower.
The canvas used in this painting is one I had left over from one of my Adventure Painting classes. At the end of each class I have my students put their leftover paint on a blank canvas. I later take these canvases that are full of texture and paint something of my own on top. It is a great way to not waste their paint and gives me unique textures.
Pale Pink Peony is 14 x 14 inches oil painting on stretched canvas. It is gallery wrapped, wired and ready to hang. It comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
