Artwork description:

This piece holds a quiet part of my heart. I made it on a still, misted morning near the Storr Lochs, where the Cuillin mountains seemed to hover between sea and sky. The colours—soft cream, pale grey, navy and teal—felt more remembered than seen, like something half-glimpsed in a dream. I wanted it to feel like memory itself: gentle, distant, yet deeply familiar.

The Cuillins have a presence that goes beyond form or line. Shrouded in mist, they carry a mystery that belongs to older worlds—something elemental, elusive, and reverent. I’ve long felt that their power lies not in what they show, but in what they suggest. In this image, I sought to honour that silence and stillness, where sky, water, and mountain breathe as one.

Printed large at 72 x 48 inches, it’s designed to bring atmosphere and calm to a spacious room.

About This Print
Printed on softly textured, museum-grade canvas using archival, non-fade inks—each piece is produced by hand in my studio on the Isle of Skye. If you prefer fine art paper or a bespoke size, I’d be delighted to accommodate.

I photograph and print every image myself, ensuring full control over colour, tone, and texture from start to finish. This allows me to create a final piece that faithfully reflects the emotion and detail of the original scene.

Print Size
Image 76 x52 inches, including a 2-inch white border—ideal for statement spaces above a sofa, bed, or entryway. Smaller sizes are also available.

About My Work
I’m passionate about creating artworks that last a lifetime — using luxury papers and canvas crafted by historic manufacturers. The colours are deep, true, and painterly; many clients tell me my photographs feel like paintings.

My materials are chosen for their quality and history, and each print is made with care — one at a time.
