This work grew from my desire to honour the Canadian goose not only as a real bird, but as a symbolic being shaped by land, memory, and cultural presence. The uplifted wings give it a sense of awakening and dignity, while the ornamented forms suggest a language older and larger than the individual creature. I was inspired by the idea that nature itself can become an emblem alive, protective, and carrying stories. For me, this painting speaks about resilience, transformation, and the sacred energy hidden within familiar life.
