Poetic painting depicting an Ottoman magus from an imaginary Middle Ages, wearing a copper-coloured tunic with geometric motifs in the colour of nature, and a gentle face. It could be a man or a woman. In fact, in ancient times, true magicians aimed to help and heal their fellow human beings with the benefits of plants and nature. However, they were often hunted down and treated as evil beings because they overshadowed official medicine and the all-powerful Church.

With a dash of Klimt inspiration, the painting expresses all the poetry of a world where flowers appear as points of light, and where the magi exude an aura of unusual candour and wisdom.

The painting is presented in an antique wooden frame with gilded mouldings.
